The Grunge Look

“Fashion is what you’re offered four times a year by designers. And style is what you choose.”
— Lauren Hutton

Hey People!
We saw the return on dungarees, those classy hats and reflector shades. But guess what is coming back in fashion! 90's Grunge Trend that involves styling your outfits with a check shirt tied on your waist. Fashion bloggers across the world are styling their outfits with contrasting or matching check shirts. You can tie up the shirt either with denims or shorts. Though I came across people styling the shirt with dresses and statement necklaces too. In my today's blog post I am wearing a grey sporty crop sweat shirt with denims and have tied a red check print shirt up my waist. I am carrying a leather backpack and heavy headphones. You will notice lot of rings on my fingers, my new obsession. I am also wearing gold studded boots to complete my grunge look. Ladies start digging your closets for shirts or probably your boyfriends!

Featuring AKIRA by Anindita Sinha

“Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.”
― Coco Chanel

Hey Peeps!
My today's post is about a fashion line called AKIRA- Graceful Strength by Anindita Sinha. I came across her fashion line and couldn't help falling in love with it. Akira is a niche, elegant and exclusively versatile line of fashion clothing. Anindita's recent collection is called Minimal which is simple yet stylish and comfortable. The best part about her line is that every new collection has something new to look forward to. The collection she is coming out with this fall has amazing detailed work and designing as compared to the minimal look, giving you the bliss of pure elegance. You can check out Akira's website (links at the bottom) and they ship worldwide. I picked out two of my most favorite outfits from her last collection and featuring them on my blog.

Here are the pictures!

This emerald green and gold embellished evening dress is my most favorite pieces among all. I absolutely love the color, one shoulder design and the slit that goes right up till the lower waist. This fabulous piece is worth Rs.4000. Its a real steal!

This black front and back cut out maxi dress is another piece I am in love with. I adore the cut out design at the back. It looks stunning when styled with accessories and perfect pair of pumps. The cut outs make this simple maxi dress look elegant and sexy. This outfit is worth Rs.3800.

Do check out Akira's website to see all the outfits and have a look at their Look Book to know ways in which you can style those mind boggling outfits! Like their Facebook page for all the updates and find out about the next collection coming up soon!

Hope you guys enjoyed the post! Much love!

Little Red Dress

The only rule is don't be boring and dress cute wherever you go. Life is too short to blend in.
-Paris Hilton

Hey People!
Red is the color of extremes. It's the color of passionate love, seduction, violence, danger, anger, and adventure. Its one of my current favorite colors. I got this cute pleated short red dress that I m absolutely in love with. The pleated design is my most favorite part. We used to wear pleated short skirts in school with long over sized sweaters over white shirt and loose ties’. It used to look darn cute. Anyway, this little red dress is perfect wearing both in the day with a backpack and sneakers or you can wear it at night styling it with an elegant barrel bag and block heels.  And this dress was fairly reasonable. It costs INR 2000 ($33) and you can get it from a cute little store called Pret in GK.

Here are the pictures!

Hope you liked the post. Here are the details of the outfit and do leave comments below if you want to know anything! Much love <3

Floral Summer

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
― Coco Chanel

Hola, Beautiful People!

So I found this really pretty boat neck dress while street shopping in Delhi. Its amazing how sometimes you can find bomb dresses for so less. Love Delhi for that! This full sleeves dress has pastel floral design all over, that gives it a very summery look. It has a brown leather cross neck and is bordered with a very elegant white lace. I styled this dress with beige block heels, golden sequin bow and a polka dot backpack from accessorize store. Winters are on its way, i feel like wearing all my dresses before they are stacked back in the boxes.
Here are the pictures from the shoot :)

Hope you enjoyed the post! Feel free to ask me anything in the comments below! Much love :)
