Men's Fashion Lookbook

"A man should look as if he had bought his clothes with intelligence, put them on with care and then forgotten all about them"
-Hardy Amies

So finally here is a blog post dedicated to men and fashion! I was asked by a few male friends of mine to do something related to men's fashion too. After contemplating a lot I though why not pick the best all time outfits and do a big post related to two looks. The first look is a FORMAL OUTFIT look and the second one is CASUAL. I specially went shopping for this particular blog post as
I wanted to showcase an outfit that goes with exactly what is in my head. Hope you guys enjoy the post and do wear something like this for celebrating your new years! Lets start with the first look and please find all the outfit details at the end of the blog post.

Also, we would like to thank Aditya Rana for modelling for us!

Men look best in formals! That's just my opinion but I am sure all the girls are going to agree with me. This is the perfect look that girls will dig. Keeping what girls like aside, this look is perfect for most of the occasions where you need to wear formals. A perfect fitting black suit with a white shirt and a black tie is a must for each man. This should be in your wardrobe essentials and when in doubt wear this. You can never go wrong. Trust me! I particularly love the first few buttons open with a good fitting shirt and messy long hair. I styled this outfit with a red tinted black tie, black leather shoes and reflector Ray-Bans. While buying a perfect blazer, please do not buy those big ill fitting blazers that older men wear. That's a father thing. Young men need to wear something that fits their body perfectly and looks best when open. Buy something so stylish that it can be worn with denims and t-shirt later to give it a casual yet stylish look. See how you can put a good suit to use in multiple ways?! Anyway, lets move on to the second look.

The second look is more of a casual look. Would have called it semi-formal had it been worn with pants and t-shirt. But jeans doesn't really make it semi-formal. The same blazer is worn with a white tee (preferably a plan white tee would look much better), high ankle casual sneakers and denims. Though ripped denims would do wonders if you find a perfect one. This look is exactly what I was talking about when I asked you to buy a blazer that is stylish ans fits you well. If you wear this outfit without the blazer, it would look like a regular teenage outfit. The blazer makes all the difference and make you look like a mature elegant man who knows fashion. This is another wardrobe essential classic look that you should be ready with in your wardrobe. Get ripped denims, plain white t-shirt and nice black high ankle sneakers that go with most of the outfits. This can be work with a nce leather jacket to look perfect for winters.

Product Review: TruSelf Organics

“The most beautiful makeup of a woman is passion. But cosmetics are easier to buy.”
-Yves Saint-Laurent

Hey Peeps!
So new years even is arriving. What are your plans? If you ask me, I would love to stay in my bed, watch a good movie and have pizza. It so cold outside. Anyway, I know my family is going to end up taking me out. So girls if you want to look flawless on new years eve and have that uneven skin look perfect, then you gotta try this new product I found. I generally don't blog about beauty products but since I found this extremely nice and would help you look pretty with those gorgeous outfits ya'll must have picked for the party, I thought of enlightening you about this product.
TruSelf Organics sent me this detoxifying facial mask this week all the way from Michigan. At first I was not sure how it would be, I barely use anything on my face. After reading that it is organic and contains a blend of natural clays that drawing out toxins and bacteria from deep within the skin, I couldn't resist. They sent me the product in a very cute packaging with bright blue color. I am one person who gets attracted to a packaging a lot and this one won my heart.
You gotta take a little bit of powder mask in a bowl, mix it with equal amount of water. Mix it and apply evenly on your face. Keep it on for few minutes till it gets dry and then wash it off with luke warm water. Feel your skin! Its feels unbelievably soft and smooth. Since I have a problem of open pores on my skin, this mask even made my skin pores visibly smaller. It also helps in instantly restoring your skin from acne, scars, discolorations and unevenness. Isn't it awesome?!

You can order it online on their website here and it costs about $19.50 which makes Rs. 1300. Sounds pretty reasonable to me compared to what they are providing us with. Guys, I am sure you can try it on too. Do check out their website for more products. The mask works best when used with
TruSelf Clear Skin Foaming Cleanser and Clear Skin Oil-Free Moisturizer in a 3 step kit!

Hope you guys found this post useful and would end up using this product and do give me your feedback. Lots of love.

The Winter Drama

“You either know fashion or you don’t.”
-Anna Wintour

Hey Beautiful People!
Its getting so cold in Delhi that I don't want to step out of my home at all. Being all lazy and cozy in my bed. My dad finally pushed me to go for a Christmas party that some of our friends had and I wore the outfit below for the same. You can check out the video to see how it looked in real. Subscribe to my YouTube channel here for all my video lookbooks.

I am a sucker for animal prints and they have been doing pretty well for the season. I got this long v neck zebra print sweater from Forever 21 last season. I can either wear it as a dress with a nice muffler and stalkings or can wear it as a top with skirt.

Since I am a little tall, it falls a little short for me so I planned on wearing this with my sheer stockings and leather imprinted high waist skirt from Zara. I remember seeing this skirt at Zara on sale and dying to get it as it gave the impression of being made from leather when its not. I wore a classic black blazer on top to give it a semi formal finish. I got these fur black gloves from Leh Ladakh few years back and they look amazing with absolutely anything you wear. They specially look great with dresses. Unlike those leather gloves that cant be word with elegant dresses and outfits, theses look perfect. I completed my look by wearing very comfortable flat suede boots. These are so comfortable that I can easily go running in them.

Dad took me to this beautiful park on our way where they had ducks and a little pond. It was so nice walking in the warm sunlight and spending time in a peaceful park like that. This is the perfect time to hangout with your families in parks if there is broad sunlight.

Here are the pictures!

What I Wore:
Animal Print Sweater: Forever 21
Skirt: Zara
Blazer: Zara
Gloves: Leh Ladakh Street Shopping
Boots: Pune, KP

Hope you guys enjoyed the post! Keep checking in for the new post to be up soon. Take Care.

The Little Black Dress: Missa More

One is never over-dressed or undressed in a Little Black Dress
-Karl Lagerfeld

Waddup Peeps!
So I was searching for dresses a few days back and came across an online store that caught my interest. So excited for new years already! Yay! I wanted a little black dress that is perfect for any occasion and when in doubt I can always wear it. Take my advice, all girls should own a simple little black dress. Its a must in your wardrobe as its the perfect savior when you need anything to look perfect when you have nothing to wear. And yeah, black obviously hides your lil body flaws. I came across Missa More, an online store that sells a variety of tops, bottoms and dresses. They have this section of Bodycon dresses that has these amazing figure hugging dresses perfect for various occasions. I picked this little black dress with a cross neck that hugs your body perfectly. Styled the dress with black fur gloves, diamond rings and boots. I got this another black cut out top from there that can be worn with denims, skirts and under leather jacket. Its an off shoulder simple black top that gives a very gorgeous look because of the cut out design. I am very fond of cut out dresses and this one top is like my new favorite thing as I can style it the way I want. You can check out their collection of tops here

Here are the pictures!

Hope you guys liked the post and those of you who are looking for dresses, do give Missa More a look. Their collection of all new bodycon dresses are amazing. You can fine them here:-

Brown Sugar!

Always keep your eyes open. Keep watching. Because whatever you see can inspire you.
-Grace Coddington

Hey Girls!
How ya'll doing? So its getting colder and colder! I barely made it out of my blanket and bed this week. Though this afternoon lunch with my old girlfriend pulled me out of bed. What all I do for my girls! Anyway, I had to meet her up at this fancy place and I wanted to look classy and at the same time be comfortable. I hate wearing layers and layers of clothes in winters and then I can barely move my arm. I prefer wearing light clothes and a good warm jacket. This was my very first leather jacket. Before you girls start asking me where did I buy it from? I should tell you that my mother got this one stitched from Srinagar.

Two years back, my dad was posted in Srinagar (being in Army) and this guy there did all leather business. They customize everything for you from shoes to bags and jackets. All I did was pick the color, type of leather and design. Since I own mostly everything black, I love this chocolate brown leather a lot. I styled this jacket with a plain white tank top and denims. To make the outfit look more classy, I picked up my matching brown and blue Michael Kors bag and brown suede boots. Added a few accessories and was good to go.

Also, if you are wondering then I did not feel cold at all. Its a perfect light and comfy outfit. I had these 4 inch pencil heels on but you can always buy a pair of flat brown boots which look equally classy. With my mostly brown outfit, I wore this orange nail paint from Revlon and a new lipstick that I recently got called Orange Powder from L'Oreal.

Cover me Black!

"Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live.”
 —Gianni Versace

Its getting sooo cold in Delhi! I envy the people in Mumbai right now. This is going to be my last post without sweaters, boots and jackets. All I want to do each day is just stay inside my blanket and read books. Anyway! So my today's blog post is about my favorite color, Black! I have always loved black. Its the perfect color to wear when you dunno what to wear and still look hot. Black goes with everything and the best part is it makes you look thin. I love teaming up black with reds in winters. I got these sheer bandage legging online that I teamed up with a checked red shirt tied up at my waist and a black sporty crop top with sheer sleeves. These checked red shirts are pretty much trending right now. You would see many fashion bloggers rocking them. They look great in winters and mine is woolen so goes perfectly. They also look great with skirts and leggings in winters or when worn under a black leather jacket. I shall do those looks too in my next blog post. The whole look is rather dark and sporty. Wish I had a bike for this shoot, would have gone perfectly with this! I mentioned in my last post that I love these numbered sporty tee shirts. I am sorry, I promise this will be my last post with them on.

To complete my look I picked up biking gloves and a studded leather wrist band. Nothing looks better than broad leather wrist bands and big watches on thin wrists. Don't have that misconception that if you are thin then big things wont look good on you. I rather think that broad wrist bands and big dial watches look best on thin wrists. The glove doesn't really fit me well (stole it from my brothers cupboard) but I absolutely loved it! Hope you guys have checked out my preview video of the post too. Do let me know in the comments below if you liked it.

Here are the pictures!

What I Wore:
Crop Top: Forever 21
Bandage Leggings: Snob Shop
Studded Wrist Band: Punk Rock
Wedge Sneakers: Promod
Shirt: Vero Moda
Lipstick: Hearts & Tarts by Colorbar

Hope you guys liked the post! Do send me the pictures if you try out this look and please feel free to comment below if you want to know anything regarding the look! Cheers <3

Get your leather on!

I like looking nice, but I always put comfort over fashion. I don't find thin girls attractive: be happy and healthy. I've never had a problem with the way I look. I'd rather have lunch with my friends than got to a gym.

 Hey Pretty People!
I love the above quote by Adele. I strongly believe that you should be comfortable in what you wear rather than following fashion blindly. I am not saying not to follow fashion but I am asking you guys to follow fashion in your own way that makes you feel most comfortable. I am the sort of person who has all the pretty 5 inch heels but still ends up wearing sneakers with everything each day. I can wear sneakers with every freaking thing. Wear fashion in your own way and feel confident about what you are wearing. Let your fashion define you and let people know that this is what this girl is all about rather than feeling like someone else.

My today's post is about what I am! Leather jackets, sporty t-shirts and denim. I would much rather wear this than wear short uncomfortable dresses. On most days, I wear sporty t-shirts and denims with my sneakers. Specially now when we have winters, I love styling these sporty t-shirts with either a black fitting blazer or leather jacket. Style your simple outfit with a few accessories, red lipstick and open messy hair and you are good to go. Your most important accessory should be your confidence to rock any outfit you wear. I absolutely love leather jackets and I long for winters for the same reason. Also, boots make a stunning fashion statement. I have styled my chic outfit with wedge knee high dark grey boots. I also caught hold of a very different 4 finger pearl ring sent to me by The Bling Store.

Here are the pictures and find the outfit details at the bottom :)

Leather jacket: Promod
4 Finger Pearl ring: The Bling Store
NY tee: Cupid, Pune
Denims: Levis
Boots: GK Market, Delhi
Accessories: Promod and Forever 21

Hope you guys will keep in mind what I said and define your own fashion!
Lots of love
