Polka Freak

I rarely use a stylist, and enjoy choosing my outfit on my own. If you know what suits your body and personality then your individual style emerges naturally.
-Hilary Rhoda

Hi Lovelies!
I am loving the Delhi weather for now. It's so windy and it's not too warm. I love walking out at night after dinner with my darling Simba. I might as well enjoy the weather before it gets too warm. I don't think I would be abbe to manage colors like black after it starts getting too hot. Therefore, I got this cute little monochrome outfit from Nineteen recently for a birthday party I am going at.

Whenever you are in doubt, you should wear a monochrome outfit. It's like a neutral outfit that does not hold any strong emotion as you are not putting on any bold color on you. Monochrome can go with either a pink theme makeup or red. I tried to break the monochrome outfit's neutral tone by wearing my new Paris Hilton big round sunnies from Aldo.

I am wearing the Off-Shoulder Black Leotard top from Nineteen .It's a very pretty bodycon top that takes your body shape perfectly and you can flaunt your curves. Of course I won't recommend this for a slightly healthy body shape though you can wear it with a high waist skirt and cover up all the tummy flaws. To have this short playful outfit look, I styled this top with the Polka Loca Tube Skirt. Its a very pretty polka dots figure hugging tube skirt. It would also look amazing in winters if you wear it with shear black leggings and boots. I am a big sucker for polka dots and this skirt is one of the best pieces I have in my collection now.

I am wearing my block heels from Aldo with high ankle socks that my mom got for me from Singapore. I love these cute socks with polka dots ribbon and white lace on the top. I love wearing them with my block heels and short skirts. I think short skirts look best with high ankle or knee high boots. We can't wear boots in summers so I style these shoes with high ankle socks to give in a similar look. To complete the look, I just wore my statement Michael Kors watch and a studded bracelet from Accessorize.

Hope you saw the video above to have an idea about how the outfit looks. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe to my YouTube channel.  Have a look at the pictures below and don't forget to check out the latest collection of Nineteen.

What I Wore:

The Tulle Affair

My personal style is bipolar. Sometimes I feel like dressing in a boyish leather jacket; other times I want to dress more elegantly. Most of the time it's what I like to call 'comfortable chic': Giuseppe Zanotti flat sandals, Rag & Bone jeans, slouchy Isabel Marant shirts.

Hey Guys!
How are you all celebrating Spring? I am loving the pastel colors, floral prints and tulle.  Spring is all about happy pretty colors and light clothes. I was obsessing over the tulle skirt for a very long time and finally I got my hands on it. I came across this online website called VOGUE AND ME and they have the perfect tulle midi skirts that I always wanted. They have so many pretty colors that I feel like buying one of each. You can buy the same skirt that I am wearing called Pina Colada from here. This gorgeous skirt has 6 layers of net and has a very soft satin lining.

You can check out more products on their website including pretty dresses and some really smart blazers. They have pretty reasonable prices keeping in mind the amazing quality of their products. You can style this skirt with floral crop tops, light colors and a bit of bling. I am wearing this pink crop top with golden sequin work on it. This is another one of those amazing street shopping products from Delhi. These tulle skirts also look very pretty with black leather jackets. They give a very unique look of styling something so delicate and pretty with a masculine strong piece of clothing like a leather jacket. I would surely try out that look and post the pictures next winter. For now, my wardrobe is full of light summer clothes and dresses for a very long time.

I am wearing my new favorite sunglasses with floral design on it. I ordered these on Ebay just in time for Spring. I never used to wear anything except RayBans but now I have started experimenting with my looks. Being a fashion blogger, I ought to experiment a little and tell you girlies what looks the best. Also, I completed my look by wearing my all time favorite Converse! How I used to love wearing them during my graduation. That was the time when I would only wear converse and I had all different colors of Converse. The look that I went for this post is very girlie and sweet, you ought to make it a little playful by wearing something like converse rather than heels.
Here are the pictures!

WHAT I WORE:
Top: GK, Delhi
Skirt: Vogue and Me
Shoes: Converse
Watch: Michael Kors
Sunglasses: Ebay

Hope you girls enjoyed the posts and please do share the pictures with me if you try this look out!
Much love!

Contemporary Soul: Khara Kapas

Style isn't just about what you wear, it's about how you live.
-Lilly Pulitzer

Hi there!
If you guys have been following me for a while then you would know that I am mostly all about western outfits and you won't have ever seen me in anything even slightly Indian. Well this post is a big surprise for all of you then. I have been so excited for this post since the day I got this contemporary Indian outfit.  I came across Khara Kapas a few days back and for the first time I completely fell in love with something so contemporary, bohemian and yet so modern. I couldn't take my eyes off this outfit that I got, the minute I saw it. It's a very pretty layered ankle length mustard skirt that has a gorgeous flow because of the detailed work of white beading done at the parameter of the skirt. I love how it flows and gives a beautiful shape. The black cotton crop top has buttons in front and is u shared from front and back. Do check out more outfits of Khara Kapas on their Facebook Page here and you can follow them on Instagram here

I absolutely loved their packing! They sent me this outfit in a plain white cotton cloth bag which was simple and yet very different. There is a completely different feel of receiving things in simple cloth packing than getting them in plastic wrapped packing. I wore my red and green glass bangles with this outfit on one arm and wore the gorgeous gold ring with a peacock embellished on it on the other hand. For the first time I wore these typical Indian bangles and jewelery. I have to admit, I absolutely loved wearing this outfit and I can't wait to get more of their gorgeous outfits. If you saw the video above, I am sure you can make out how much fun I was having wearing that skirt, jumping here and there like a little girl.
Their products are made 100% in cotton and are very comfortable. I love the material and finishing of the clothes. I picked up a matching mustard duppatta for the shoot because I always wanted to do that duppatta flying in the air, DDLJ kind of thing. Haha, I know i am so dramatic and funny. Anyway please do check out all the pictures below, you will fall in love with the outfit and trust me, I am not doing justice to this gorgeous outfit.

Drama Queen!

I think I was always a drama queen. I really, really, really loved playing pretend.

-Kathryn Hahn
Hey Girlies!
I should warn you that this post is very girly and has a lot of pink. The make up is inspired from the Sculpt Look that Nargis Fakhri was sporting for Masaba Gupta's outfit at the Lakme Fashion Week. Well I do love pink and I believe that most girls associate themselves with pink and it's an absolutely happy and pretty color. Also all girls are drama queens though their intensity may vary. I love being a drama queen when it comes to things I want. If I have my eye on something, I want it. And if I want something then I want it now.

For this particular post I chose a Barbie Paris Hilton set-up where I am covered with bling, pink color, candies, Victoria secrets and bows. I think all girls go through different phases in life and I had this phase where I was all girly and liked pink but then during graduation I was all goth, listened to Marilyn Manson music and wore everything black. Though I am more balanced right now but every once in a while I like to be my girly self and be all adorable.

I came across this wonderful line of handbags called the DRAMA QUEEN HANDBAGS. I  completely love their name and relate so much with it. Their bags are customized to what you love and they make sure to make you happy by providing the best service and the most adorable packaging. I picked up two of my favourite bags from them that I really wanted to show you girls. The first one is a hard box clutch with all bling bling on it. It's perfect for all the parties and looks amazing during dinners or when you go to clubs. It has a golden sling chain inside and you can hang it across your shoulder. The other one is my current favourite as it's so much in fashion. A fringe bag is all you need with all your casual day to day outfits. I got a black fringe suede leather bag from them and boy I am in love with it. I have been carrying it around everywhere nowadays.

Do check out their Instagram page here to get a look at their huge collection. Coming onto the outfit that I am wearing in the post, I teamed up my ripped denim short skirt with a sleeveless white sequin top and a grey racer back top. Everyone should have a basic short denim skirt that matches up with almost everything. This one is pretty old. I guess I was in 11th grade when I picked it up from a random store in Hyderabad. I am wearing a cute bow headband and guess what? I made it. I should make a DIY post for all you girls who like making bows and headbands. So many of my Instagram followers have been asking me to do that.

Have a look at the pictures below and don't forget to check out Drama Queen Handbags!

This was such a fun shoot. I love all the pink and bling. Even the makeup it uber pink just like barbies. And I hope you liked the bags as much as I did!

An Indian Touch with India Circus

I think my own personal style always ends up seeping into characters that I play. I've always had a very distinct idea of fashion for myself, and what a character should wear.
-Zooey Deschanel
Hey peeps!
My today's post is all about coloring your life with an Indian touch. I am sure you all must have heard about India Circus, a brand that associates itself with contemporary chic fashion with Indian essence. If you haven't heard of them yet then you definitely are missing out on the amazing range of products they have ranging from home decor, fashion, accessories to wall-art.

I have to admit that I am a sucker for stationary and I love collecting diaries, pens, ribbons, colored sheets and everything. I found this really amazing black base notebook with vibrant prints. This diary came in with another smaller diary. It's my favorite one from the latest collection. Currently I have been using it for jotting down all my future blog ideas. So yes, I have been putting it to good use.Being an Indian I adore the brands that have inspiration from contemporary Indian designs. Hence, having found India Circus was one of the best things that happened to me. I have fallen in love with their unique designs. Have a look at the Queen walk IPad cover that I got from them. I have never come across such a gorgeous cover with this royal Indian touch. Having a regular case for an IPad is too mainstream, doing something different and accessorizing your cases is something you should think about.

The IPhone case I have in the pictures below is called the Elephant Walk case. Elephant prints are my favorite from all the Indian inspired prints. I love the color of the case because we mostly don't change the covers everyday and having this blue case would match most of our outfits pretty well. They also have an amazing collection of different bags and wallets. I adore their jhola bag and this time I got one of their wallets. This pretty wallet has the print that resembles the hand made block printing design. You can use it as a sling bag too and hang it across your shoulder.

Check out the pictures below to see some of their products that I recently got and I am absolutely in love with them. I love vibrant colors and bold prints and India Circus is all about that.

Hope you enjoyed the post. Let me know what is your favorite product from India Circus in the comments below!

Spring is here!

“I have always believed that fashion was not only to make women more beautiful, but also to reassure them, give them confidence.”
 — Yves Saint Laurent

Hi Girlies!
Spring is finally here after that long long winter. I am so excited as I can finally wear all my pretty dresses again. I love to see all those pretty flowers blooming right back and making everything look even prettier. This post completely is all about saying "Yay! It's Spring".  I absolutely love floral prints and florals are really big this season. So make sure you get a couple of pretty floral prints to rock this season and look your girly best.

This pretty skater dress was sent to me by The Wardrobe Planner. I love this dress for the season and it's so girly and cute. I felt like a doll wearing this dress. Theses skater dresses look adorable in floral prints and make girls look like barbies. I thing the best hairstyle to go with this look is having pretty lose curls. My hair are naturally curly and I like leaving them messy. But if I had straight hair, I would definitely curl my hair for this look. This dress came beautifully packed and had a pair of transparent bra straps with it that you can attach to you dress as some people aren't comfortable wearing a tube dress. I love the material of the dress and it's like a corset from the top with decent padding. The dress also has a layer of lace at the bottom that shows from beneath the dress and looks very cute.

I got these pretty sunglasses with a floral frame and purplish tint from Ebay and I was so happy yo see that they go perfectly with the dress. These sunglasses barely costed me anything so if you want to buy sunglasses to match with some of your dresses, you can check Ebay.com too. They would deliver in like 10 days. I completed my look by wearing a cute Forever 21 bow necklace and this really gorgeous angel wing two finger ring from Regium. I took my new black clutch from Accessorize and wore my favorite red wedge sneakers with this playful dress.

Hope you saw the video above to see how the dress looks and don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel here.
