A Little Red Dress

When in doubt wear red.
-Bill Blass

Hey there!
The weather is Delhi is slowly becoming a little better, atleast at night it's pretty pleasant. I just went out for a walk and it was pretty nice. I love going for long walks alone at night with just my music on and nothing on my mind. I love listening to music and at night while walking I push all thoughts of work and everything away and just enjoy my walks. While walking today I recalled that I recently wore this really pretty dress and wore this outfit for lunch at a really cute place with red houses. You guys have to see the pictures.

Bill Bass rightly said,"When in doubt, wear Red". Red is the most gorgeous color and it definitely solves all outfit problems. Wear Red lipstick and you look amazing, wear red heels and your outfit looks amazing, wear a red dress and you will look outstanding. I got a perfect casual short red dress from Missa More recently and I styled it for a lunch. The dress has a V neck, 3/4th sleeves and is super comfortable. This dress has a gorgeous shade of red and it's one of my most favourite dresses. Either you can make the outfit look simple and wear it as it is or you can make it a little dressy and wear it with a gold metal belt like me. I love this belt. It makes all my outfits look amazing. I even wear this with my denims and tuck it in the looks of my denims.

To completely my look, I wore my really comfy block heels from Forever 21, a golden MK watch, a pair of sunnies and carried my new LV speedy bag. Even since the day I have bought my LV bag, I want to carry it everywhere. Haha! Trust me it's the best bag ever and I am obsessed with it. Also, it looks amazing with anything red and maroon. Did you notice the houses behind? I absolutely love this place and I so wish to have a house of my own in such a pretty area.

I hope you guys liked my outfit. Check out the pictures below!

Festive Vibes with Zariin

My favourite thing in my wardrobe is my jewelry.

-Kate Reardon

Hola!
So the festive season is here and I am super excited about it. Are you? I love dressing up for the wonderful Indian festivals and I specially love picking outfits and jewellery for the same. Now that I am growing up in a lady from a young crazy girl, I am going through this whole phase of loving jewellery and ethnic outfits more than my usual casual outfits. I never used to wear anything Indian and I never really wore any jewellery but now I am falling so hard for good accessories and traditional clothes.

I was looking out for some amazing light jewellery with quality work and ethnic routes when I came across Zariin. I completely fell in love with their collection and we have so much to choose from their website. Zariin was started by two amazingly creative sisters who pay special attention to their design. Each collection is build around the beauty & uniqueness of the natural stones. Sharing their love for natural stones- the raw attraction and fierce power, they make the stones the spotlight of each piece, and build the designs around the stones. Additionally, their designs are influenced by their cultural roots, as women born and raised in India. They effortlessly incorporate the Indian influence as well as trends they identify from their extensive global travels.

I wanted to wear a plain white ethnic outfit with matching light and elegant jewellery. I picked up my new mukesh work saree, wore it with a tube blouse and styled it up with jewellery from Zariin. The best part about Zariin is that each design can be found in different sections of their rings, necklaces, earrings, etc. I loved their gold plated work with dark and light blue beads. I wend to each section of their website and picked a similar maang tikka, ring, layered necklace, bracelet and earrings. The outfit and jewellery was highly appreciated at the party I went to and I am completely satisfied with their quality, delivery and designs.

Glam it up!

Be sure what you want and be sure about yourself. Fashion is not just beauty, it's about good attitude. You have to believe in yourself and be strong.
-Adriana Lima
Hi there!
I have been super busy, attending Amazon India Fashion Week since the past 5 days. Today is the last day and I can't wait to see the finale. I have been having a blast dressing up all days and watching amazing shows there. I saw some really amazing collections and I can't wait to feature them on my blog. Anyway, so since I have been attending a lot of after parties and late night shows, I picked up a really cute golden sequin top from Candidly Couture  and I had to show how I styled it up for a perfect party look.

Candidly Couture has a crazy variety of amazing clothes and I love sourcing my outfits from them. The quality is absolutely amazing and the designs are always unique. I have always been a fan of shimmer and sequin. I have a huge collection of sequinned clothes in my wardrobe and I love sporting them every now and then. I have very subtle sequin work day tops to some crazy heavy bold work of sequins for a glammed up evening look. This top of Candidly Couture definitely is one of my favorites for the evening. I styled it up for a perfect party look with a black fitted skirt, a pair of black heels from Steve Madden with golden cuffs and a black clutch from Accessorize.

I think sequin tops definitely make you look very glamorous and make you stand out in the crowd. You can even style this top over black ripped denims and a pair of boots or wear this top under a classic black fitted leather jacket in colder weather. I love styling sequin tops with leather jackets too. They make an amazing combination and trust me you will love it.

Check out the pictures below and if you want to shop from Candidly Couture then you can use the CODE: AAKRITI15 to get 15% off on your purchases. Happy Shopping!

Bejeweled

To me, accessorizing is the most fun part of an outfit. While I don't think you can't rely on accessories to make a dress that isn't working work, I do love jewelry and handbags more than anything.
-Anna Kendrick

Hi there!
I have always been a very raw girl from an army background who never liked accessorizing, carrying girly handbags or wearing heels. Now I am a completely different person. I think when you grow up your preferences keep changing. I just got my first LV bag yesterday and my parents can't believe that I am the same person who flinched at the name of designer bags. Now my dressing and preferences are slowly moving towards a little sophisticated side. I have been looking out for gorgeous handbags, elegant outfits and stunning jewelry to go with everything. While looking out for some jewelry recently, I came across this online store called Aarohee. Wedding season is coming and if you are also looking for some really amazing jewelry then Aarohee is the place for you.

Aarohee, the e-store for jewellery, focuses on contemporary designs and is also an excellent choice for vintage-inspired jewellery. As quaint and attractive, their jewellery is inspired by the old-world charm. Their sparkling, delightful and charming modern collection is for young girls who want to go with the latest trends and are captivated with delicate designer necklaces, charm bracelets and steam-punk jewellery.

I picked up some of my favourite pieces of jewelry from their Contemporary jewelry section and styled with an elegant semi formal outfit from SR Store. I have completely fallen in love with their contemporary designs and I feel that these can be worn with both western and Indian outfits. I picked up two sets of jewelry from them. One set with light brown single colored stone bracelet with a pair of yellow citrine danglers. The other set I am wearing consists of a garnett bracelet and a gorgeous garnett stone and ziron ring. Their jewelry is beautifully finished and I love how these look good with the western outfits and can be worn by people of any age group.

I styled the jewelry with a golden bag from Charles & Keith and a pair of golden plated black heels from Steve Madden. I love the outfit from SR Store as it's a really comfortable dress that can be either worn formally or can be accessorized for all other occasions. Check out the pictures below to see how gorgeous the jewelry by Aarohee looks:-
